Unbounded Talent: Breaking Norms and Shattering Stereotypes!

Brisbane Festival is proud to feature a lineup of incredible shows that explore the experiences of people living with disabilities.

These productions are informed by the unique lived experience of their creators, and many dive into topics related to disability. From discussions of sexuality to accessible workshops, the diversity in these productions reflect the diversity of the human experience. But most importantly these shows are here to demonstrate the unending creative talent of those involved.

This incredible line-up is a reflection of the goals embedded in the Brisbane Festival Disability Inclusion Access Plan, created in collaboration with Access and Inclusion Partner, CPL – Choice, Passion, Life. By embracing diversity and removing barriers, CPL and Brisbane Festival aim to create an environment where everyone can fully engage, appreciate, and celebrate the arts.

Duty of Care

Duty of Care

In curatorial practice, and in culture more broadly, ‘care’ has become a buzzword, and is being used to reset policy and practice. However, too often, the complexity of the topic is lost despite good intentions.
